The Art of Exceptional Travel

The most valuable experiences cannot be measured in miles travelled or places visited, but in the moments that leave a lasting impression. At Catrela, every journey is carefully designed to inspire, connect, and create memories that endure long after the journey ends.

Testimonials

  • “Looking for someone to help you plan a trip of a lifetime? Skye is your agent!

We've just come back from two amazing, once-in-a-lifetime holidays, the first to Egypt and Jordan, and the second to Scandinavia. Skye has the knowledge, contacts, and skills to tailor-make your dream getaway!

From choosing flights and the perfect seats, to discussing destination options, to exploring which excursions are right for you, Skye gives you peace of mind that everything will run smoothly and that your travel ideas will come to life!

When COVID hit in 2020 and our planned Camino Walk and Scenic European Cruise had to be postponed, Skye went above and beyond to retrieve nearly 100% of the funds we had paid out. She continued for months to ensure that every possible avenue was followed up. This would have been impossible for us, as individuals, to do.

In 2024, we finally got to go ahead with both of these plans due to Skye's dedication and diligence in supporting us, and we had a ball!

    Thank you, Skye!”

  • “Where do I start!? There are too many amazing things to write about Skye... prompt service, incredible attention to detail, destination knowledge, professionalism, and not to mention her bubbly, warm personality that displays the passion she has for her job, which makes her a dream to work with.

Skye has just finished planning a second overseas trip for me and my husband, which we are heading off on next week. Having a very busy lifestyle meant we needed a lot of guidance and recommendations prepared for us, and Skye just nailed every aspect of travel we required.

Thanks for all your wonderful help, Skye!”

  • “If you’re looking for a Travel Manager who is professional but friendly and dedicated to providing the holiday that you want, then we would recommend that you look no further than Skye.

From the moment we first engaged with Skye, we immediately got the vibe that she would put together a holiday that suited our needs, not just promote the “weekly specials”. Skye probed and questioned us as to what we were looking to achieve and then, after a few conversations, put together an itinerary that would meet our needs.

She created an itinerary using her vast travel knowledge and her contacts within the travel industry. We left for our holiday confident that Skye had covered all bases and that we would have a great experience, which we did.

Skye also made contact with us whilst we were on holiday to ensure that some minor changes that arose did not impact us, which was much appreciated.

We would not hesitate to use Skye’s services and knowledge for our future travel and have no hesitation in recommending her services to anyone who wants an exceptional Travel Designer.”

  • "Lucky humans who get to discover you.

This Europe trip has been absolutely planned to perfection… yesterday as we travelled from Campobasso…. With private vans, through Pompeii where we had a private tour guide take us right from the van doorstep, through Pompeii (kept the kids & adults absolutely entertained… honestly I learnt so much!), straight into the van to lunch, then directly to the ferry… where we had more vans meet us to take us to our island hotel in Ischia.

That is a day that would normally frighten any parent of a 6 & 10 year old… but it was so much fun and we didn’t have to worry about a thing! I said to Cam… I’m NEVER booking a holiday WITHOUT Skye again! Honestly everything was timed to perfection so we didn’t waste a day here just ‘travelling’.

    BRAVO!!"

    – Michelle

  • "Everything was amazing! I had the best time.

Everything Skye organised was fantastic, and the hotels were lush.

    Honestly, perfection!"

The Value of Travelling with Catrela

A thoughtfully planned journey goes beyond choosing beautiful places to stay. It’s knowing which experiences suit you, how each destination connects and which details need attention before you arrive. At Catrela, you work directly with me to create a holiday that feels personal, with trusted people supporting your journey along the way.

  • Your interests, your pace and the way you like to travel shape every recommendation. Drawing on years of experience, I design authentic, flexible itineraries with thoughtfully chosen accommodation, meaningful experiences and time to enjoy each destination in your own way.

  • Finding the right options takes more than comparing photographs and prices. I research, assess and narrow the choices, then coordinate the arrangements into a considered itinerary. You receive clear recommendations and practical advice, making decisions easier and saving you hours of searching.

  • A comfortable connection, the right room category or knowing which experience to book ahead can change a holiday. I consider how your journey works on the ground, including travel times, arrival arrangements and the balance between exploring and relaxing.

  • I work with trusted premium suppliers and local experts who bring knowledge, care and local perspective to your travels. These relationships help me match you with suitable guides, accommodation and experiences, with reliable contacts behind the arrangements.

  • You’ll understand what’s included, what remains to be confirmed and which payment dates and booking conditions need your attention. I explain the options and trade-offs, helping you make informed decisions about where to invest, what to prioritise and what suits your holiday best.
